TN Govt: Residents in other states interested in returning to Tamil Nadu can apply!

In a special notification, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has mentioned:
“As a preventive measure against the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic, lockdown conditions have been imposed from 25th March throughout the country under the National Major Disaster Management Act.
Under this situation, all national transport services – flights, trains, and buses have been stopped, Because of this, many persons from Tamil Nadu, including students, tourists, and pilgrims, have been stranded at various places.
For those who are currently in other states and interested in returning to Tamil Nadu, an arrangement has been made online – through the website: www.nonresidenttamil.org.
A form is available on the Home Page of the above website – ‘Return to Tamil Nadu’, with a green button by which registration can be made.
On the other side, there are many persons from other states presently residing/stranded in Tamil Nadu. They can visit the website: www.nonresidenttamil.org and register by pressing the ‘brown’ button.
