TN State Govt Education Department: When will schools reopen?

As per the latest situation, lockdown conditions are extended in the 3rd Phase until 17th May! It started on 25th March as a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic!
The schools have remained closed since March. The answer-sheets of the +2 or 12th Standard Public Examinations have not been corrected yet!
So, the date of the release of the results is not announced!
The department of the School Education of the State Government of Tamil is right now focusing on conducting the 10th and 11th Standard Public Examinations!
In this scenario, the academicians, students, and parents are waiting eagerly with the prospects of schools reopening.
Unless clear-cut permission is made as an announcement by the central government, there are no prospects for schools to reopen!
The school education department is reviewing the situation, whether schools can be reopened in the districts where coronavirus has made the least impact.
Incase schools are opened, is there the right situation and facilities to keep ’social distancing’ between the students?
The State Education Department has categorically announced that the State Government of Tamil Nadu is determined that the schools can be reopened only when there is a guarantee for the safety of the students!
