In TN, electricity bill payment time extended

Presently, whole India and TN has been under lock down from 25th March 2020 till 14th April 2020. This has been done mainly to prevent the spread of Corona virus from one person to other. People have been facing many difficulties in this lock down is known.
Yesterday, 13th April, CM of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswami extended this lock down in TN till 30th April. It is now brought out that the last day of payment of electricity bill or charges has been extended now till 6th May 2020.
It must be taken into note that earlier the consumers were asked to wait till 14th April to pay their bills as per bimonthly readings.
Important information is the electricity charges for March and April would be calculated based on the electricity charges paid for the months of January, February and March and people could pay their bills through online. People could utilize facilities such as payment gateway, mobile banking, BBPS or Bharat bill payment system etc.
