Tamil Nadu CM: Review meeting today with his cabinet on coronavirus status!

A review meeting is scheduled to be conducted today (Saturday, 11th April) at the Chief Secretariat in Chennai on the status of the coronavirus pandemic and the preventive activities, issue of lockdown, etc. The meeting will be presided by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, E. Palaniswamy participated by all the cabinet ministers. It is scheduled at 6.30 PM today.
Information is gathered that decisions will be taken during this review meeting on the preventive activities against the coronavirus spread and also regarding the recommendation of the Expert Medical Council to extend the lockdown condition by another 2 weeks.
Once this state cabinet ministry meeting is concluded, the Chief Minister is scheduled to conduct another review meeting at 6.00 PM today (11th April) with all the district collectors.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to conduct a video-conference at 11.00 AM today (Saturday, 11th April) with all State Chief Ministers.
It is expected that the official central government announcement will be released regarding the extension of the present lockdown situation.
It may be noted that the states of Odisha and Punjab have already extended the lockdown condition.
