Lockdown till 1st May in the state of Punjab!

With the main objective of controlling the raging coronavirus pandemic spread, it has been decided to extend the current lockdown situation until 1st May.
As at present, the lockdown has been imposed throughout the country for 21 days until 14th April as a preventive action against the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic.
However, the spread of the virus could not be controlled, several states had appealed to the Prime Minister to extend the lockdown.
The state government of Odisha already announced the decision to extend the lockdown until 30th April.
In this situation, in a meeting conducted and presided by the Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh with his cabinet ministers, a decision was taken to extend the lockdown condition until 1st May.
In Punjab, 101 persons have been affected by coronavirus so far. 4 persons have recovered. 8 persons died.
