For the 1st time in the country, Odisha CM extends lockdown till 30th April!

For the 1st ever-time in the country, Odisha Chief Minister Navin Patnaik has extended the lockdown until 30th April.
The rampant and raging coronavirus epidemic is spreading fast, far and wide throughout the world including India where it is presently spreading hot and fast!
The killer virus has so far taken 91,895 human lives the world over! 15,46,175 persons have been affected by the raging coronavirus.
It has been spreading equally fast in India as well! The number of affected persons in India has shot up to 6,653!
So far, 199 human lives have been lost. At the same time, the central ministry of Health has informed that 602 patients have recovered completely and returned home!
In this scenario, the state cabinet of the Odisha state government assembled for a review meeting presided by it Chief Minister Navin Patnaik.
A decision was taken during this meeting to extend the lockdown conditions until 30th April.
Chief Minister Navin Patnaik has ordered that all academic institutions will remain closed until 17th June. He explained that the lockdown has been extended mainly in order to prevent the spreading of the raging coronavirus.
In India, Maharastra have been affected more than any other state. 1346 Peoples were affected and Tamilnadu comes next with 834 affected peoples. 44 persons have been affected in the state of Odisha. One person died. 2 persons were cured and returned home.
