TN Government Chief Secretary: Avoid meetings except for ultra-emergency!

The Chief Secretary of the Tamil Nadu State Government, Shanmugam has written a letter to all the Department Secretaries to avoid conducting meetings except in cases of extreme emergencies.
He has mentioned in his letter: All employees and visitors entering the Chief secretariat must be allowed in only after thorough checking. Departmental Secretaries should avoid conducting meetings. Only in case of dire emergencies, meetings may be organised!
The visits of the department heads and the directorate staff must also be avoided.
If the employees have a cold, cough, fever, or breathing difficulties, they must avoid attending office and visit the doctor,
The staff attending duty must wash their hands frequently with soap for 20 seconds! They should drink only boiled and cooled water.
