Coronavirus awareness exhibition in Chennai and Egmore Railway Stations

In India, people affected with coronavirus are isolated and kept in separate wards in the hospitals and treated.

The Tamil Nadu Government Health Minister C. Vijayabhaskar has informed that a single individual, an engineer from Kanchipuram affected by a coronavirus, has recovered fully well. However, the Corona Virus precautionary, safety, and prevention of spreading are in continuous full swing.

Special medical teams are monitoring 24-hours a day at the Chennai MGR Central Station and Egmore Station to check the passengers.

Awareness Exhibition

In this situation, Southern Railway has set up an awareness exhibition on coronavirus regarding the precautions and safety steps. This awareness exhibition was inaugurated yesterday (Wednesday, 11th March) by the Chennai Division Manager P. Mahesh, who then distributed the leaflets.

He shared with the press:

Coronavirus has spread in many countries, including India. In order to prevent spreading and to create awareness, this exhibition helps the passengers with related info. It is to be noted that the number of train passengers HAS NOT come down due to coronavirus panic. As such, only awareness is required!
