Ghee offerings to Tiruvannamalai

Here is a chance for you to offer ghee pots to Thiruvannamalai. The Devasthanam welcomes volunteer devotees to offer payment towards ghee pots. The price range is as mentioned below:
- Rs 200 – 0.5kg ghee
- Rs 100 – 0.25kg ghee
- Rs 50 – very little offering
The money can be sent either through DD or money order or bank cheque. These are to be addressed to the Executive Officer of Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple, Tiruvannamalai. For details, contact: (0)4175-252438.
Those who wish to share their offerings will have to provide their personal details.
For all the devotees who donate ghee pots, the Devasthanam shall provide Deepam Cauldron Prasad via post once the Aarudhra festival gets over in the Tamil month, Maargazhi. The mailing will be done around middle of January.
Sharp at 6 p.m. on 23rd November 2018, the deepam will be lit. From then, it will continue to be lit for about 7-13 days. Priests will calculate the exact time of lighting.
