Time extension until 31st August for Engineering Counselling

A petition had been submitted to the Supreme Court on behalf of the Anna University requesting a time extension for the engineering course counselling sessions.
It was mentioned in the petition that as the counselling for the medical courses admission has not yet been completed, The time extension has been sought.
When conducting the enquiry, the Supreme Courted granted approval to extend the time for engineering counselling till 31st August. The earlier deadline was only until 31st July.
