Which is better an arranged marriage or a love marriage?

Mine is an arranged marriage. I worried that it would not work,as I hardly know the girl, I am going to marry. My friends tell me that arranged marriages do not work as good as a love marriage. - Vishal from Chennai

You need not worry that your arranged marriage will not work. Success of your relationship does not depend on whether yours is an arranged marriage or a love marriage.
Who says only love marriages will be a success?
If it was true, how is it that you see so many divorces among love marriages?
Do you know the main difference between a love marriage and an arranged marriage?
You select the person you are going to marry in a love marriage. Parents select the person you are going to marry in an arranged marriage.
After marriage, every relationship is the same.
• You have to make adjustments with your spouse.
• You must be patient and tolerant to the faults of your spouse.
• There must be mutual respect.
• There must be constant communication.
• There should be spacing and freedom.
Both types of marriage need the above qualities.
Of course, it feels good when you marry the person you love. This is the only advantage of love marriage. The after marriage life is the same in love marriage or an arranged marriage.
Love marriage does not change the concept of marriage.
Arranged marriage too does not change the concept of marriage.
Love is the foundation of any type of marriage.
You have to make lot of compromises, be it a love or an arranged marriage.
You have to make your marriage work, be it a love or an arranged marriage.
Your spouse will not be what you expect him\her to be, be it a love or an arranged marriage.
You will fight, be it a love or an arranged marriage.
So, you need not worry if yours is an arranged marriage. To make it a success depends entirely on you. In love marriage, you love the person before marrying him\her. In an arranged marriage, you love the person after marrying him\her. So go ahead with your arranged marriage without fear in your heart.
