New website and mobile app for Indian Railways

As a move to ensure faster and simplified ticket booking, the Indian railways is planning to set up a revamped website an Android-based mobile app for IRCTC.
This website will be friendly for usage for the passengers. It will be free of all kinds of clutters and have easier login and navigation facilities. There is going to be no trouble with getting timed out while booking tickets.
A chunk of businesses are to be gathered on the new website and mobile app sourced from the other websites and mobile apps.
Display of confirmed tickets, and dates to facilitate the journey plan is one of the features of the newly revamped site. Misuse of Tatkal facility shall also get curbed on the new app.
SMS alerts about arrival and departure of train shall also be shared with the transporters.
During the journey, details of delay in train shall also be passed on to the passengers. This will also include details of causes in delay, the time at which the train will arrive at the next station and reach the destination, etc. shall be included in the text messages.
With the help of Indian Space Research Organization, the precise location of travelers shall also be indicated in the new feature.
This will help anyone to keep track of the location of train in real-time basis.
