Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale is here

In its announcement today, Flipkart, the leading online marketplace has said that The Big Billion Day sale will take place between 20th and 24th September.
Recently, Flipkart had received USD 2.4 billion from SoftBank in Japan. This makes Flipkart the 3rd most funded private company.
Flipkart says, with this sale, it will bring over a billion Indians together and make this festive season even more special.
Further to the number of deals and offers announced for Indians, for the very first time, shoppers will be able to surf through more than 80 categories with new partnership with more number of leading brands, reads a company release.
Products across all these categories will come with more than 90 percent discount on BBD. There are also going to be crazy deals unlike before, thus giving the best value deals for aiding customers buy more with minimal payment, the statement adds.
On TV, print media, radio, social media, outdoors and online, there will be strong marketing done. This will include strategic alliance with online and offline partners as well.
India shall celebrate the Big Billion Day because it will trigger the festive vibe across the country. Flipkart’s BBD is continuously growing as the largest shopping carnival, said CEO of Flipkart, Kalyan Krishnamurthy.
