Passengers Service Centre set up in Chennai Central Station

Hundreds of passengers arrive at the Chennai Central Railway Station every day from North India. They find the language and communication as the main barrier. In order to help such passengers, a service centre has been set up in the Bus Stop located opposite in front of the Chennai Central railway Station on behalf of the Chennai Metro Traffic Police.
In this service centre, Chennai Traffic Police personnel knowing 9 different languages including English, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam will be posted on duty.
A Chennai Metro Corporation map with details of all major tourist spots and roads is displayed in the service centre. The passengers from different parts of the country, especially from North India, can see this map and easily get the route for their destinations.
