Rs.200 notes to be circulated in Tamil Nadu from today

RBI officials has informed that new Rs. 200 notes would be released and distributed for circulation in Tamil Nadu from today, 28th August.
The new Rs 200 notes may only be available at select RBI offices and banks. Public can visit the banks for cash withdrawal, the new Rs. 200 notes. It is to be noted that this is possible only for the persons who bank savings account holders. Individuals cannot directly approach the bank demanding for new Rs. 200 notes.
Based on the demand, it is expected that additional stock of Rs. 200 notes would be released.
