Local holiday declared on 4th September in Chennai

The Chennai district collector has declared a local holiday on the occasion of the festival of Onam on 4th September.
However, 23rd September would be a working day in lieu of the holiday declared on 4th September.
It may be noted that the Chennai Metro City has an appreciable section of Keralites who perform their most important festival of Onam in a grand manner not only in their houses but also trough their associations and local clubs.
