TTDC announces new Courtallam tour package from Chennai

The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation has announced a Courtallam package staring from Chennai for people to enjoy the spa of the south.
This tour encompasses visit to Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple, Madurai and Andal temple, Srivilliputhur. It was on 14th July that the tour got commenced and is operated as a weekend trip on all Fridays to Courtallam in Tirunelveli district.
On every Friday at 4.30 pm, the coach starts from Chennai and arrives at Courtallam in the morning next day to visit the famous waterfalls. There is a night halt at Courtallam after which tourists are taken to Srivilliputhur and Madurai on Sunday. This tour pack comes for Rs. 3,350 and Rs. 3,100 for adults and children respectively in non-ac coach.
