Renault brings price cut on its prominent car models

Here is an official announcement from the automaker Renault that it is set to pass on the GST benefits to all its customers. There is going to be a 7 percent price cut on Renault models in India. This price reduction is however variant from one state to the other. There are other determining factors such as the car variant purchased, its model, tax rates of the car prior to GST implementation, etc.
Speaking about this, Sumit Sawhney, the Country CEO and Managing Director of Renault India Operations said the implementation of GST is one of the notable achievements by the central government. This is a one nation-one tax method to facilitate the entire system. It has created a congenial environment for businesses. There may however be a temporary disruption in the entire system caused by the economic transformation. This will anyway turn out to be positive for the economy and corporate India. As a move to pass on the benefits of GST to our customers, we are enhancing the value proposition of Renault products, he added.
Accordingly, Renault Kwid Climber AMT will be sold for Rs 5,200 to Rs 29,500 lesser. The price cut on its most popular SUV Duster RXZ AWD is of the range Rs 30,400 to Rs 1,04,700. There is price drop of Rs 88,600 with Lodgy Stepway RXZ (7S).
