TVS and Ford also reduce the prices of their vehicles

Subsequent to the implementation of GST, on the basis of the savings in taxes to be availed, the 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler manufacturers have indulged in intense competition in announcing sensational price reductions of their vehicles.
2 days ago, Maruti announced a price reduction of up to 3% for its vehicles. Consequently, Toyota, Mercedes, and Benz reduced the prices.
In this trend, Ford has now announced the reduction in prices of its cars including Pico, Echo Sport by up to 4.5%.
With the above offers, the prices of the cars will come down by Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3 Lakhs.
2-wheeler manufacturers like TVS, Hero Motocorp, and Honda have also announced price reductions. The reduction is from Rs. 350 to Rs. 1500.
It is gathered that the price reduction for the premium vehicles would be in the range of Rs. 4150.
Hero Motocorp sells 2-wheelers in the price range from Rs. 40000 to Rs. 1.10 Lakhs. It has also announced price reductions. The reduction is in the range from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1800.
Hero Motocorp has also announced that there may be a reduction of up to Rs. 4000 on its premium models.
Honda also has come with a reduced offer for its 2-wheelers up to Rs. 5500.
