In order to help the small and micro industries to file GST returns, a new cloud-based GST accounting Ledgers software has been launched. GST is in effect from 1st July throughout the country.

As per the GST rules, the traders need to file the GST data 3 times in a month. Following the central government insistence, most of the traders have joined the GST.

Still, some traders have some confusion about registering GST data. They are also anxious not knowing exactly how to file the data. In this scenario, the company India Filings (https://www.indiafilings.com) has created a user-friendly software, called ‘Ledgers’ to enable the traders (Especially the small and micro industry traders) to file the GST data.

This company has been in the field of getting licences for trade and business starting entrepreneurs, registering them in the proper government departments. Following the GST implementation, the company India Filings has come up with an exclusive software to file GST data.

The Managing Director of the company, Mr. Lionel Charles, explained that the traders have to enter their trade data covering GST details regularly on the website of the software Ledgers. The field data would be saved in the software. When filing the GST details, the software will automatically calculate the related GST accounts.

Once the order is given to transfer the entered GST details to the government website, it will be done. In other words, the software Ledgers is the link or bridge between the traders and the GST website.

Though GST is implemented, the central government has still not released the website where GST data have to be uploaded. So, it would not be necessary to file the GST data for the month of July.

It is sufficient if GST data is filed once in August and once in September. The rule of filing GST data thrice in a month will commence from the month of October.

The Managing Director informed that in the above situation, they also cannot file these data. However, the details can be entered and saved. A payment of up to Rs. 10000 has to be made to use the software Ledger per year.

The traders who have still not registered in GST website will have to pay an additional Rs. 3000.

The company has set the target of enrolling at least 1 Lakh traders to use this exclusive software in this year. The offer has been hugely popular.
