Vista dome coaches containing glass ceilings soon in trains

Senior officials from the Indian Railways affirm the arrival of vista dome coaches by end of April. These coaches will have glass ceilings and rotatable chairs. There are 3 such coaches set to come from the Integral Coach Factory completely designed and made there.
These coaches will be incorporated in Araku Valley near Vishakapatnam and at Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior ICF official said that the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and the Railway Board have had placed orders for these coaches. The coaches are designed and made from the scratch and will be dispatched by the end of April.
Out of the three, 2 will be used for Araku Valley and the third one will be for Kashmir. The third coach is at present in the production line whereas the first two are on cards for dispatch, the official added.
Glass ceiling is the most amazing and exclusive feature of these coaches. This is called the vista dome. This will give a panoramic view of the surroundings to the tourists. In Araku and Kashmir Valleys, tourists get attracted by the pristine surroundings and beautiful views. These coaches are going to be the first of its kind in the location.
