Chennai gets Amazon Pantry. It is a grocery and household facility from the ecommerce giant Amazon. With this, there are 29 such cities having Pantries in India.
Here, in these Pantries, there are more than 4000 everyday essentials encompassing 250 brands of household and grocery products, Amazon statement reads. Amazon will convert ecommerce as their daily habit. We take great pleasure in launching Amazon Pantry in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Amazon Pantry has huge scope in this city, this being a major market.
Customers can shop for groceries and household products in Chennai with ease, said Saurabh Srivastava, the Director of Amazon India, Category Management FMCG.
Per box, the price for delivery is Rs 49, but during the initial days, the price will be slashed to Rs 20. Amazon Prime customers can avail the service for free.
