TTDC tours covers 108 Amman temples

Keeping in mind the religious sentiments of devotees, the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) announced the 108-Amman Temple tours.
During the five-day tour, pilgrims would be taken to 108 important and ancient temples and darshan would be arranged by the TTDC.
They would be covering more than 2,500 km in five days. From Chennai the pilgrims would be taken to temples in various districts including Chengalpattu, Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladudhurai, Karaikal, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukkottai, Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Srirangam, Samayapuram, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.
This tour will commence in Chennai on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 a.m. and return the following Friday and Monday at 9 p.m.
The tariff is Rs 5500 for two people. The fair includes A/C bus accommodations and room accommodation. Rs 4900 will be charged for boys between 4 years and 10 years. For an individual, the tariff has been fixed Rs 6500.
