Here is an announcement regarding the recruitment of employees for the Directorate of Town and Country Planning for job vacancies in the year 2013-14. The process of recruitment will be direct. Applications are welcome from interested and eligible candidates.
Job positions:
- Draftsman
- Assistant draftsman
Salary:
- Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200
- Incentive – Rs 2,400
Educational qualification:
As of 1st of July 2015, the applicant should hold a degree in any of the below mentioned educational qualification:
· The candidate should have passed the exam conducted by the government labor ministry based on the syllabus introduced after July 1952
· Certificate from Chairman, Technical examination board, Madras Engineering Company, military draftsman
· Draftsmanship certificate from the artisan training centre
· Draftsmanship certificate for Vocational employment training by national council of vocational training institute
Age limits:
As of 1st of July 2015, the applicant should age within 35 years. Based on the government rules of reservation, there will be relaxation in age limit for applicants belonging to backward classes
Exam centres:
Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Thiruchirapalli
Exam mode:
Written exam followed by direct interview
Exam fees:
The exam fees of Rs 300 is to be paid at the name Director of Town and Country Planning. This should be valid for encashment in bank branches in Chennai. Payment need to be made only as demand draft.
