Librarian & Deputy Librarian:
The applicant should hold master`s degree in library science or information science or documentation
Assistant librarian:
Applicant should hold Master`s degree in Library Sc or Information Sc or Documentation or any other equivalent professional degree. He or she should succeed the National level test.
Procedure to apply:
Applicants can send in their application in the appropriate format along with the needed documents to The Registrar, University of Madras`s and the last date for application is 5th October 2015.
Application fees for librarian, deputy librarian and assistant librarian jobs for general or OBC category is Rs 500. This can be sent as Demand Draft. The fees for SC, ST or differently abled is Rs 250. The last date for application is, as stated above, 5th of October 2015.
About University of Madras:
University of Madras is a public state university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was incepted in 1857 by an act of the Legislative Council of India. This is one of the oldest and premier universities in our country.
There are six campuses for the university in the city including Chepauk, Marina, Guindy, Taramani, Maduravoyal and Chetpet.
