Vacancies in Jawaharlal Nehru University

About 125 vacancies for positions including professor, associate professor and assistant professors are currently available at the world renowned Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. These are set to get filled through direct appointment.
These vacant positions are available in different department including Mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, sociology, anthropology, economics, history, geography, etc. The qualification for the job post includes marks in graduation, experience in research, books published, ability to take lectures, face to face interview, etc. As this is a vacancy with the central government, people from SC, ST, OBC categories will have reservation.
The application can be downloaded from www.jnu.ac.in. Those belonging to general or OBC category need to pay a sum of Rs 500 towards the application form fee, whereas for OBC and ST or SC caste, there is no such charge. The last date for submitting the application form will be 25th of this month, state an announcement from the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
