Actor Rajinikanth Inaugurates Kauvery Groups Advanced Facility in Vadapalani
Actor Rajinikanth inaugurated the Kauvery Group of Hospital’s quaternary facility at Arcot Road in Vadapalani on Wednesday, March 20. At the event, nine centers of excellence were also launched. According to S. Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and executive director of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, the facility is equipped with specialized centers for heart and lung transplants, orthopedics, spine surgery, kidney and liver transplants, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, fertility treatments, diagnostic and interventional radiology, and emergency care. The 250-bedded facility includes a 75-bedded critical care unit (CCU), a 30-bedded transplant intensive care unit (ICU), and six modular operation theaters with laminar flow, set for expansion.
Rajinikanth praised Kauvery Hospital`s commitment to excellence and innovative care. He shared his personal experience of receiving care at a Kauvery facility, emphasizing the dedication and positivity of the staff. S. Chandrakumar and S. Manivannan Selvaraj, founders of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, also attended the event.
