Shocking!! Tamil film playback singer Bhavatharini passed away at the age of 47!!

Yesterday, Tamil film playback singer and daughter of famous music director Illayaraja, Bhavatharini Illayaraja aged 47 passed away. It is revealed that she had passed away after prolonged illness. This has shocked many now.
Tamil film goers would not have forgotten the famous song `Masthana Masthana` from the 1995 year released film `Raasaiya` starring actors Prabhu Deva and Roja. That song was sung by Bhavatharini and it became a super hit song.
It must be noted that in the Tamil film named `Bharathi` that hit the screens in 2000 Bhavatharini sung Mayil Pola Ponnu Onnu song composed by her father Illayaraja. Truth is that Bhavatharini won best playback singer for this song. Bhavatharini later played the role of a music composer for the film titled `Mitr` directed by actress Revathi. This film was released in 2002 and was spoken highly by many is known. It is known that her brothers Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja and cousins Venkat Prabhu and Premji Amaran are famous film personalities.
