Special Vande Bharat Train: Chennai to Nagercoil Weekend Service

A Special Vande Bharat train service has been announced by the Southern Railway, set to operate between Chennai Egmore and Nagercoil on select dates, including the upcoming weekend and Good Friday. Departing from Chennai Egmore at 5:15 am on Saturdays and Sundays, this exclusive service will reach Nagercoil by 2:10 pm.
Conversely, the train will depart from Nagercoil at 2:50 pm, arriving at Chennai Egmore by 11:45 pm. The route will encompass key stations including Tambaram, Villupuram, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, and Tirunelveli. Ticket bookings for this service will commence shortly, as per the announcement made by the Southern Railway.
