Chennai Airport Soars with Expanded Domestic Flight Services!
During the post-summer vacation period, when schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu are closed, many people are heading to their hometowns or hill stations for a refreshing holiday. With the relentless heat pushing them, air travel has become a preferred choice for its cool comfort and time-saving advantages.
This surge in air travel has notably impacted the Chennai domestic airport, with a significant rise in passenger traffic. To meet this demand, additional flights have been introduced, connecting Chennai to Tuticorin, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru. Additionally, services to Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kolkata have been bolstered.
This expansion has delighted passengers, with over 40 new flights being added. For instance, the daily flights between Chennai and Tuticorin have increased from 6 to 8, while the routes to Coimbatore and Madurai now offer 16 and 14 flights respectively, up from 12 and 10 previously. Furthermore, the connectivity between Chennai and Bengaluru has expanded from 16 to 22 flights, and between Chennai and Hyderabad, it has grown from 20 to 28 flights.
