Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Extends Fee Payment Deadline for Group 2 & 2A Main Exam
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced a special extension for payment of the main examination fee for the Combined Civil Services Examination – Group 2 and 2A.
Exam Cancellation & Confusion
Earlier, the Group 2 and 2A main examinations were scheduled to be conducted on the 8th. However, confusion over exam centre allotments led to protests in Chennai, with some candidates staging road blockades. Initially, the exams were postponed only in Chennai, but later TNPSC officially cancelled the examinations across Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Eligibility Test on March 15
The Tamil eligibility paper (Part A) for Group 2 and 2A main examination is scheduled to be conducted on March 15 as part of the Combined Civil Services Main Examination.
Fee Payment Deadline Extended
In a major relief to candidates who failed to pay the main examination fee, TNPSC has provided a re-opportunity to pay the exam fee until March 5, 11:59 PM.
Candidates are required to complete the payment through the One Time Registration (OTR) portal without delay.
Official Communication
TNPSC has informed eligible candidates individually through SMS and email notifications regarding the extended deadline. Aspirants are advised to check their registered contact details and complete the process within the stipulated time.
