All public exams conclude: dates of result release announced

All the public examinations conducted under the Tamil Nadu State Government syllabus for various classes including 10th Standard, +1, and +2 got concluded yesterday (Friday, 29th March). The public examinations were in progress for a period of 1 month. The activity of the correction of answer sheets commenced yesterday (29th March).
The public examination scheduled for this year (2019) was announced in June 2018. Accordingly, the Public Examinations commenced on 1st March. +2 Public examinations commenced on 1st March and concluded on 19th March. +1 Public Examination commenced on 6th March and concluded on 22nd March.
10th Standard Public Examinations commenced on 14th March and concluded 29th March.
Thus. All the public examinations, conducted for a period of 1 month, wet off smoothly and peacefully without any disturbances including the fact that there was no leakage of question papers.
The question papers for +2 were rather easy. However, the question papers for +1 were more difficult and the students were tested severely!
As for the 10th Standard Public Examinations, the question papers for Mathematics and Science were rather tough which is unprecedented! However, the question papers for the other subjects were rather easier.
The activity of correcting the answer sheets will be done gradually. In the 1st Phase, the correction of answer sheets for +2 commenced yesterday (29th March).
The Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Examinations has announced the dates for the release of results as under:
- +2 – 19th April
- +1 – 8th May
- 10th Standard – 29th April
