Anna Universitys new superb move to upgrade the knowledge of youth & working professionals!!

Here comes an important piece of news for the youths & working professionals who are trying to upgrade their knowledge!!
Private EdTech firms would be able to conduct various certificate courses from now on at the highly popular educational institution Anna University or AU in Chennai. By this, the AU would play a huge role in the up-gradation of knowledge of youth and the working professionals.
As per the AU instructions, the selected companies would take both online as well as offline or direct physical classes. It is learnt that these courses would be in the fields of engineering, technology, applied sciences, humanities and management etc.
Once the selection of companies gets over, the courses would start from the month of December and this was mentioned by a senior professor from AU. He spoke about how AU would be selecting those educational firms that have offered courses to 1000 candidates successfully in the last FY. He added that the firms must have offered courses with one or more institutes ranked inside the top 50 by NIRF 2023.
In consultation with the course coordinator nominated by AU, after the course allocation the companies would finalise the eligibility criteria for the candidates for a particular course.
Anna University would decide the fees for the course. Point to be noted is that there would be a partial waiver of course fee for a group of employees or students sponsored by any organisation and this would be based on the approval from the AU. It is worthy to mention that the EdTech firms would maintain a well trained course advisory team and they would interact with the prospective candidates, address their questions plus help them in enrolment etc.
It would be possible for several stakeholders of AU to track the progress of courses in real time. The candidates would be provided superb training through virtual labs, simulation tools besides conducting exams based on the course.

Established in the year 1978 and named after the former chief minister of TN, Mr. C.N. Annadurai, AU or Anna University is a public state university in TN with its main campus in Chennai. It is well known that AU consists of 4 colleges namely College of Engineering or CAG in Guindy campus, Alagappa College of Technology or ACT Guindy campus, Madras Institute of Technology or MIT in Chromepet and School of Architecture and Planning or SAP in Guindy campus.
