The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates who are interested in writing the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), but have not applied so far, can now apply from today (Tuesday, 11th April) until 13th April (Thursday).

Admission to graduate Medical Courses, including MBBS, BDS, Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, and Veterinary courses in private and medical colleges throughout the country (including seats allotted for All India Quota) is given after conducting the Entrance Examination. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The National Testing Agency is organizing these NEET examinations in 4999 cities, not only throughout India but also in foreign cities.

Accordingly, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for the Academic Year 2023-24 is scheduled to be conducted on 7th May in 13 languages, including English, Tamil, and Hindi.

Applications for NEET commenced on 6th March, and the last date for application had been announced as 6th April. However, candidates who failed to apply before this deadline appealed for an extension of time to the National Testing Agency.

Giving due consideration to this appeal from students and parents, applications can now be made from today (Tuesday, 11th April) until 13th April (Thursday).

Candidates who have not yet applied for NEET can visit the website: www.neet.nta.nic.in and apply online.
