Rumours of All students of 1st to 9th Standard to be declared passed?! State Department of Education explains!

The Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has categorically confirmed that ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS WILL CERTAINLY BE CONDUCTED for the students from 1st to the 9th Standard!
After the surge of the first and second waves of the raging coronavirus pandemic over the last 2 years, the schools have been reopened in Tamil Nadu.
Further, the Public Examinations for the 10th, 11th, & 12th Standard students are scheduled to be conducted after a gap of 2 years.
It is almost 5 months since the schools were reopened after the reduction of the impact/spread of the coronavirus pandemic. In this scenario, information floated around that all the students of the 1st to the 9th Standards will be declared passed.
On this rumour, the parents and the students were confused!
In the above scenario, the Department of School Education of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has come up with a categorical explanation that this rumour is false and the ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED FRO THE STUDENTS FROM 1ST TO 9TH STANDARDS AS PER THE REDUCED SYLLABUS!
Further, it has been declared that as per schedule, the annual examinations for the students from the 1st to the 9th Standards will be conducted from 6th May!
