What is exactly happening now regarding the counselling for headmasters posts and transfer of teachers etc in TN?

For those teachers and headmasters who have been waiting for the counselling, here comes an important piece of news!!
It is now revealed that the counselling for the post of headmasters and transfer of teachers would take place soon in Tamil Nadu. Review meeting of the school education department has been conducted. Point is that notification along with guidelines would be out soon about this. There are more than 1000 posts for headmasters now in TN and these posts would be filled up.
There has been a delay in the counselling regarding transfer of teachers in the last 3 years due to Coronavirus pandemic. Counselling would bring happiness on the faces of more than 70000 teachers soon.
Every year, counselling for postgraduate and graduate teachers working in government as well as government aided schools in Tamil Nadu would be conducted at the end of the academic year. This was brought out by a senior official belonging to the school education department.
Since the beginning of 2019, about 70,000 graduate teachers teaching classes 9 and 10 in the state run schools have registered to take part in the counselling session.
The senior official then spoke about how in the review meeting that took place recently it was decided that priority would be given to appoint headmasters after conducting counselling for them.
By the end of this month of December, a detailed official notification would be issued by the TN government and this was due to the fact that the issue regarding counselling was escalated.
At present, some senior teachers have been carrying the duties of headmasters as well as their jobs simultaneously. This would put a heavy burden on them. Information is that soon full- time headmasters would be appointed and they would be doing just the administration works and not any teaching sessions for the students. At the middle school as well as in the high school levels, teachers have been taking extra work by conducting more classes. This has been due to the vacancy in the teaching staff. To fill up the vacancies batch wise, counselling for the teachers (waiting for transfers and promotions etc) would be conducted.
