TNPSC announces the date of the written examination for the post of librarians

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced the dates for the written examination for the recruitment for the post of librarian. In order to fill up the vacancies for the 29 posts of librarians vacant in Anna Centenary Library, Department of Industry, Department of Agriculture, Legislative Assembly, etc, TNPSC had earlier announced to conduct the written examination on 23rd February 2019.
However, TNPSC announced on 18th December that the examinations will not be conduction this date. Subsequently, the secretary of TNPSC, Nandhakumar, has now informed that this written examination is scheduled to be conducted in March.
Accordingly, the written examination for the post of librarian in the Department of Archaeology is scheduled on 31st March. For the recruitment of librarians in other departments, the written examination is scheduled on 20th March.
As the Main written examinations for the category of Group-2 posts are scheduled to be conducted on 23rd February, the new date for the written examination for the post of the librarian has now been announced by TNPSC.
