India’s First-Ever Pan India Reality Show ‘Big Pitchure’ Launched - Puts the Power of Cinema in the Hands of the People
In a move set to redefine the landscape of Indian entertainment, Gammen Sports and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. announced the launch of ‘Big Pitchure’, a revolutionary Pan India reality show that hands the reins of filmmaking directly to the audience. Streaming soon on JioHotstar in five languages, the show challenges the nation with a simple yet powerful provocation: “You’ve always judged movies. Now make one.”
In an era of instant one-minute reviews and armchair critics, ‘Big Pitchure’ offers a 15-week journey that transforms viewers into the writers, directors, actors, and decision-makers of a feature-length film. The show aims to bridge the gap between audience judgment and the grueling reality of cinematic creation, culminating in a nationwide theatrical release of a movie made "by the people, for the people."
The show’s format is anchored by two central pillars that ensure transparency and high-stakes drama:
The Starboard: A massive digital hub showcased in every episode, capturing thousands of story pitches, auditions, and musical scores from every corner of India.
The Motherboard: The inner sanctum where the audience and legendary mentors move the "best of the best." As the weeks progress, the Motherboard becomes the living blueprint of the film, revealing the final cast, crew, and script piece by piece.

Spanning 15 weeks with weekly episodes of 60 minutes each streaming every Sunday, the show unfolds distinct phases every week. After announcing the winners in the final episode, they will all come together to make a feature film which will cater to Pan India audience.
‘Big Pitchure’ will be hosted across languages by Bharath (Tamil), Indrajith Sukumaran (Malayalam), Navdeep (Telugu), Vasishta N. Simha (Kannada), and Vijay Raaz (Hindi), and will stream on JioHotstar in five languages, enabling pan-India participation.
