Weather Update: Light Rain Expected in South Tamil Nadu, Heat to Increase
A lower-level atmospheric circulation over the Southwest Bay of Bengal is expected to influence weather conditions across parts of Tamil Nadu. According to the weather department, light rain may occur in isolated places in the coastal districts of South Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow.
From March 13 to March 16, a few places in the southern coastal districts may receive very light rainfall, while most other regions of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal are expected to experience dry weather.
On March 17, light to moderate rain may occur in a few places across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal is expected to gradually rise by about 2°C from tomorrow until March 15.
In Chennai and its suburbs, the sky is likely to remain partly cloudy. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature may remain around 23°C.
