More than 3000 job offers got by SRM students now

Chennai based SRM Institute of Science and Technology or SRMIST is now making great news. Recently the 2018 placement season at SRM Institute of Science and Technology took place is known. It is said that top IT recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro etc made over 3000 job offers on campus to the students of this SRMIST. TCS Digital offered jobs to as many as 62 students and Infosys offered jobs to as many as 64 students under the category of ‘Dream Offers’. It is superb to mention that the total offers made by Infosys were 1185. The campus recruitment also saw as many as 15 companies belonging to Taiwan making their presence felt. It was facilitated by Taiwan External Trade development Council or TAITRA.
There were also other popular companies that took part in the recruitment process at SRMIST. IT major Microsoft recruited a student with annual package of Rs 38 lakhs and grabbed the attention of many. Amazon picked as many as 16 software development engineers. Three students of this SRMIST were offered annual package of Rs 18.5 lakhs each by a Bengaluru based start up UDAAN.com. An annual package of amount of Rs 18.1lakhs was offered by the popular Bengaluru based Nutanix to two system reliability engineers. It is worthy to note that M.Tech student of SRMIST was offered Rs 17 lakhs per annum by SAP Labs. It is now revealed that this campus recruitment would spread over 2 months so that students could pursue their dream jobs.
SRMIST was established in the year 1985 in Chennai and initially it was known as SRM College of engineering. It must be noted that SRM University has got 8 campuses and four are located in Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and Trichy. This SRM University campus is also present in places like Delhi NCR, Sonepet, Gangtok and Amaravati.
