Who Is Eligible?

The scheme primarily benefits:

- Eligible ration card holders under the Public Distribution System (PDS)

Delivery Dates

For the month of March, home delivery is scheduled on March 2 and March 3, 2026 for eligible beneficiaries.

Doorstep ration delivery will be implemented across all 15 major corporation zones in Chennai, including:

Anna Nagar, Alandur, Perungudi, Sholinganallur, Thennampet, Adyar, Thiruvottiyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Royapuram, T. V. K. Nagar, Ambattur, Kodambakkam, and Velachery.

Nearly 990 fair-price shops functioning under the Cooperative Department will manage the distribution process across these zones.
