Gold Prices Rebound in Chennai Evening Trade – 30 March 2026
After a slight dip earlier in the day, gold prices in Chennai have picked up again in the evening, reflecting continued volatility in the market.
According to the latest update, 22-carat gold is now priced at ₹13,770 per gram, rising by ₹170 from the morning rate. On a sovereign basis, the price has increased to ₹1,10,160, up by ₹1,360.
Likewise, 18-carat gold has climbed to ₹11,490 per gram, registering a gain of ₹145.
Silver prices have also edged higher, now at ₹255 per gram, up by ₹5 compared to the morning session.
The evening rebound suggests that the earlier decline was only temporary, with buying interest still holding strong. Such intraday fluctuations highlight the current uncertainty in the market, influenced by global trends and investor sentiment.
