Happy news for those going to their hometowns in TN for deepavali!!
The grand festival of deepavali is round the corner!!
For those who are planning to go to their native place or hometowns in Tamil Nadu for this deepavali festival, a special train would run between Chennai Egmore and Thoothukudi.
Information collected is that the special train 06001 would start from Chennai Egmore on 10th ad 12th November at 11:45 pm in the night and would arrive at Thoothukudi the next day at 12:30pm in the afternoon.
In the opposite direction, train 06002 would start from Thoothukudi on 11th and 13th of November at 3:30pm in the evening and would arrive at Chennai Egmore at 4:45 am the next morning.
Train stops in various places:
The special train would stop at Tambaram, Chengalpet,Villupuram, Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Seerkazhi, Mayiladuthurai,Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti railway stations. The pre-bookings for tickets in this special train would commence soon.
