The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has officially started the online application process for Polytechnic admissions (2026–27 academic year). Students can now apply for first year, lateral entry (second year), and part-time diploma courses through the official website.

Candidates can submit their applications online via the official portal:www.tnpoly.in Applicants must register using their Aadhaar number and mobile number to complete the process.

Eligibility Criteria
First Year Diploma: Pass in 10th standard (SSLC) or equivalent

Part-Time Diploma: Pass in 10th standard or equivalent
