Tamil Nadu Schools to Reopen on June 4 After Summer Break

Schools across Tamil Nadu will reopen on June 4 following the summer vacation, which has been scheduled earlier than usual due to upcoming election-related duties.
- The Class 12 (Plus Two) public examinations have concluded
- Class 11 and Class 10 public exams will end on April 6
- Exams for Classes 1 to 5 will be held from April 6 to April 16
- Exams for Classes 6 to 9 will take place from April 1 to April 16
- Summer vacation begins from April 14, ahead of schedule
The early holiday announcement comes as school infrastructure and staff are expected to be utilized for election work across the state.
