Chennai Met Department Forecasts Rain in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Warns of Rising Temperatures!
The Chennai Meteorological Department has issued a press release concerning the weather forecast for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. From today until the 15th, scattered areas may experience rain. On the 12th, heavy rainfall is expected in seven districts, including Coimbatore and Tirunelveli.
The forecast attributes this to upper atmospheric circulation in southern India. Light to moderate rain with strong winds is expected in Tamil Nadu and Karaikal areas of Puducherry until the 13th. From the 14th to the 15th, rain is anticipated in a few places across Tamil Nadu.
Additionally, temperatures are expected to rise, potentially reaching 106 degrees Fahrenheit in some interior districts, 102 degrees in other plain areas, and 98 degrees along the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
