Prime Minister Modi - changes will be made in the GST system if required

In his address during a meeting, Prime Minister Modi informed that within the relatively short term of 3 years, his government has managed to improve India’s ranking in the list of countries suitable for business. India is in the 100th place in the international list and this did not consider the GST aspect.
However, the fact is that GST has brought major reforms in the taxation system which is more transparent and more stabilised and reliable.
Presently, India is among the countries where it is easier and simpler to invest and start industries. This is a recognition of the central government performance.
Still, the central government is ready to carry out changes in the GST slab system, if required.
