Indian Railways Summer Special Trains 2026: To manage the increasing passenger demand during the summer season, Indian Railways has announced special train services, including routes connecting Bengaluru, Nagercoil, Shalimar, and Rupsa.
Nagercoil – Shalimar Special Train
The Nagercoil–Shalimar Express Special will depart from Nagercoil at 11:40 AM on April 15 and reach Shalimar (West Bengal) at 2:30 PM on the third day.
Return Service:
- Departs Shalimar at 2:00 PM on April 18
- Arrives Nagercoil at 5:30 PM on the third day

Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Salem, Katpadi, Renigunta, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Kharagpur
Bengaluru – Rupsa Weekly Special
The South Western Railway will operate weekly summer special trains between SMVT Bengaluru and Rupsa (Odisha).
Departure from Bengaluru:
- Leaves SMVT Bengaluru at 4:35 PM on April 15, 22, and 29
- Reaches Rupsa at 8:30 PM the next day
Return Service:
- Departs Rupsa at 11:30 PM on April 16, 23, and 30
- Arrives at Bengaluru Cantonment at 5:30 AM on the third day
