With monsoon zone in active mode, the Veppa Salanam (convective) rains in Tamil Nadu will be subdued for next one week to 10 days. Today there is chance of some rains in KTC but overall 1st 10 days of August is not so good for much rains in Tamil Nadu and KTC Meanwhile, Kerala, Cauvery Catchment and Western Ghats will again be active from Monday with monsoon winds dipping down from Monday.
