Special rituals are conducted on important days. Sri Chandi Homam is performed on Full Moon (Pournami) days and during Navarathri for the welfare of mankind. On New Moon (Amavasya) days, special poojas are offered to Lord Viswakarma. Devotees also participate in special Rahu Kalam poojas on Tuesdays and Fridays, where lamps are lit in lemon cups, a ritual believed to fulfill prayers quickly.
The temple also celebrates its grand annual Brahmotsavam festival during the Tamil month of Vaigasi (May–June) for 12 days, with colorful processions of Goddess Kaligambal on various vahanams including Kamadenu, Rishabam, Lion, Elephant, Horse, and the Temple Car.
Devotees from across the region visit the temple daily to seek the divine blessings of Goddess Sri Kaligambal.
